Is there a way to dock the corona renderer directly in c4d

One workaround would be to create a new view panel from the ''Window'' menu and dock that in your UI. Then, using the Viewport interactive renderer, set it to ''Use selected view'' and lock it. Start the viewport IR and enjoy! This can then be saved as a layout and loaded when needed. One thing to note is that you may need to reselect the view panel if IR was stopped and started again. :)

Some additional info on the viewport IR can be found here: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4528474589457-How-to-use-Interactive-Viewport-Rendering-in-Cinema-4D
