Title: What is "normal" time to wait for render? am i doing something wrong ?
Post by: glimpse on 2022-12-23, 10:38:38
Hi to all,

by normal i mean what is regular / optimal time to wait for render to finish?
I am asking this because i am in a doubt i am doing renders to fast or too slow. It would be easier to know how much you as a professionals wait for renders to finish?

this is my PC configuration screenshot and corona 9 render setup screenshot:

Hi,

There's no such thing as normal time for render. It all depends on the complexity of the scene, how good, or bad it is optimized and on the RAW power of your PC. Some people prefer to render specific amount of passes, some let the render to reach certain noise level. Less often people use time limit, because it's hard to know beforehand how long it will take to render an image to acceptable quality and i think almost no one is using all three limits at the same time, since that would simply take control out of your hands ;]
