Hi guys
I have a HP REVERB G2 - i was wondering if it would be possible in the future to have LIVE VR rendering? like what enscape has. So as youre rendering, you could put on your headset and see the space. This would be super helpful for things like interior CGIs where you could resolve the placement of items easier in my opinion. If its at all possible now, please share it with me :)

Since Corona is CPU based, it couldn't give the speed of Enscape which is a GPU/real-time render - so if you turn your head, you would have to wait for the image to clean up just as if you had moved the camera with IR running, which would be a very unpleasant experience :) You'd have to render out the scene in advance in order to view it in VR.

There was a project like this few years ago by a 3rd party and they were also doing a Corona integration. I think it was called Nyx VR, but I am not 100% sure. It was basically:
- starting IR
- converting the IR output into 360 sphere live, while rendering
- being able to put on a VR headset and be "inside" the IR
- plus some tools to manipulate objects in real-time, switch back to viewport, etc
This one was abandoned though (I don't remember why exactly). I am not aware of anything similar happening right now.
