Hi,
I was wondering;
How are scalable lights to be seen, when looking for a consistent workflow, or at least one that can be re-created?
For now, scaling a light DOES influence the intensity. Isn't it highly 'risky' to be able to do that?
Wouldn't it be better to
A. reflect the scaling in the Radius, by adjusting it accordingly.
Or B. NOT to be able to scale a light, just adjusting the radius.
What are your thoughts on this?

I only have one question, does scaling lights affect the speed and/or noise levels?
Lets say I add sphere light, scale it along Z and add 4x4 mod, to shape it as candle light.
Would it affect the quality of the light? I undestand that theres Corona lightmtl for this cases but sometimes I just need to change the size of multiple lights, and scalling them would do good job.
Once someone told me that scalling lights in Vray or other engines may make noise and speed go up.

I don't think area lights are made to be modified in any way. You can use geometry emitter for this.

You can also change size of multiple objects with corona light mtl.
