Title: Corona 8 on Thinkbox Deadline 10

Hi all,

we are about ton upgrade corona from v7 to v8 and i would like to know if there is any issues with v8 on max 2022 with Thinkbox Deadline v10 since we rely a lot on it for our render farm.

I would suggest using Max 2021 or Max 2023, not 2022. The reason is that currently there is some (thankfully rare) bug where the rendering freezes until the user moves the VFB window. We are not sure yet what exactly is causing it and whether this is a Corona or Max issue. As a safety measure, I would suggest using a different Max version.

As for general Corona 8 support in Deadline, we will contact Deadline team and find out about the status. With 3rd party developers, we usually rely on them updating their software to support Corona.

Unfortunately Deadline still does not officially support Corona 8.
