Title: Exterior viewed from the inside
Post by: Pedro9374 on 2022-06-13, 02:06:06

Hello guys,

maybe this is a noob question but i work with corona render for some years and never understand how you can render an exterior scene viewed from the inside without getting all burned. I'll try to explain, if you decrease the exterior light (hdri or corona sky) to a point were we can see the exterior, then, we won't see the interior good enough. On the other way around if you increase the exterior light to a good point for the interior, the exterior will be all burned :S

I attached a picture that shows this problem with a current project im doing.

I try to balance this problem using artifical lights but i dont know if its the proper way.

Does anyone has a nice way to solve this "problem"?

Thank you all :)

It's not a problem, it's reality.  Attached some real world references.

Here's one potential solution, you need to study photographers and how they deal with it.
