It would be great if we could get a more modern VFB UI similar to what redshift and vray offers. I tried themand so far corona still comes up when it comes to CPU. Redshift everything is just isn't there yet.
What I really liked about redshift is it's UI, compared to corona, corona feels really outdated especially when it comes to setting up lights, volumetric lighting and even the material editor.
Another thing I would really like to be implemented is materials have their own node view similar to what redshift offers

Hi there, can you share some visual examples of this?

"New VFB skin" is on our list of potential improvements: https://trello.com/b/EfPE4kPx/corona-tentative-road-map-3ds-max
It's in the 3ds Max roadmap, but since the VFB is a shared part of Corona, I think we can expected it for Cinema 4D as well.

i have to disagree in that case, - please not like Redshift, i guess thats a matter of taste,
but for me at least, the Redshift is the most ugly GUI of the c4d engines. i really dislike that every time i use RS.
the v-ray 5 one is ok though, it could borrow some from that

I too, would really love to see ORIGINAL proposals.
Anyone up for a challenge?
:)

The newer one I think is better than even arnold and octane, and arnold is optimized for production btw
