Title: Chair Z-Channal problem
Post by: lexxkb on 2014-04-28, 15:09:59
Hey guys, I have a question.
I'm not using real DOP. I create it in the composite. And got a problem on the verge of near object appear dots.
I can adjust the Z channel so that this does not happen?

thanks!

So why not real DOF? It`s quite fast and provides very cool result.

I think your forcing the blur too much. I dont know if this might work, but try to defringe the ZD image in PS?

You need to render the Z-depth without anti-aliasing. Unfortunately that doesn't appear to work in Corona. I'll bug it.

edit:
If you enable the Dev/Debug UI, you can turn off anti-aliasing completely by unchecking "Do Antialiasing." Do this, and render a single pass in progressive mode, and you get a nice and clean Z-Depth.

I am loving the images created with CR. I like the chair textures.
