Hey,
Try to go to the search menu and type in "start cosmos service" and hit enter.
Let me know if this works.

I too had this issue during install. I've contacted support ticket 33547 with a screenshot of the cmd line window when it stalls. I've just tried your suggesstion and it doesn't look like Cosmos Service is installed at all.

Are you installing Corona / Cosmos from a network location?
-
Hi,
I typed start cosmos in the start menu, but there was no option of starting a service. This service is not installed on my PC, and it will not (it says that my OS is not supported)
There was an option start cosmos browser, but it says that there is a problem with chaos cosmos. Again because i don't have cosmos browser.
I tried it with the latest cosmos installer, but with no luck.

Yes, i install all software from our file server

Are you installing Corona / Cosmos from a network location?
Yes, all software installers are stored on a central server on the network
-
Ok, i reinstalled corona 8 from local drive. It installed without any error. There is no chaos cosmos service and cosmos says that "there is a problem with chaos cosmos"

hi,
1. uninstall Chaos Cosmos browser from programs
2. delete the Chaos Cosmos folder from your documents
3. delete "C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos"
4. install latest cosmos https://download.chaos.com/downloads/20080/cosmosbrowser-standalone-20220412257279-free
5. In windows start menu go to stop Chaos Cosmos Browser
6. In windows start Chaos Cosmos browser
Now it works

Hi,
Thanks for reporting this. I can reproduce this issue here and it has been logged with our dev team for further investigation.
In the mean time, the suggested workaround is to run the installer from a local drive rather than a network drive.
Thanks,
Rowan
