hi guys,
im using the light mix select pass and usually im using only that in photoshop but the 3ds max saves all other light pass like sopts, other light in the scene and since im not using them its taking a lot of storage place, especially if im rendering a 200 frame animation ( it saves light mix select pass x 200, any other light pass x 200 )
is there any way to avoid saving those pass and save only lightmix select pass ?
thanks

A limitation with the Max saving system unfortunately - as well as saving the combined file with all passes, it also saves all the individual passes as their own file. Sorry.

i think i found a near by solution, in the light mix section in the frame buffer there is a button called scene, when you press it the light mix collapse into the physical lights in the scene and than you can disable the render elements in the render setup dialogue. when you do that the frame buffer render only the beauty + alpha elements without the other render elements and still it has the same lighting as before. not idle solution but i get to render only 1 image with no change in the light setting. just keep a Master scene without the scene collapse change

That will work - of course you won't be able to adjust LightMix in post using the Corona Image Editor in that case, but if you don't need to tweak it after rendering, that will be fine :)
