Title: Searching in Chaos browser causes crash v8 RC

I just installed the Chaos browser update —now any time I use the search field it crashes C4D
Mac 10.15.7

I'm sorry to hear this. Are you able to record a short vid of this happening and share it with us?

Same happens to me.
Just start cinema, open cosmos browser, type in something in search field an hit "search"...
