Title: bercon and Multitexture actually works on IR
Post by: I3ordo on 2022-02-16, 04:01:30
i just use u channel 2 on the uv map modifier with real world scaling, and it can randomize the multitexture applied to it just fine with IR helping me align the lines , so in which part the bercone tile not working i wonder...

I also would love to get rid of those annoying warnings. Meanwhile (v8 dailies), even CoronaSelect map works perfectly as input for Bercorn tiles. The reason for the warning is just because it tends to crash (like it always did) afaik - if you have "show shaded material in viewport" active for the map/material. Additionally you can still always crash it by deleting a bitmap node from Multitexture while IR is running.

Good Luck

IR crashes on my usage quite often as well... i think it is meant for material adjusting and small iterative stuff, if i do hiding, unhiding, doing "undo"s,actually  cant keep track of.... things that can make max crash is uncountable it seems. so it s not a bercon tiles problem per se:) and the warning, it should say "known to crash" instead of "not working" so more appropriate

If you have other issues leading to IR crashes, please do report them. Maybe with the exception of undo - it tends to be unpredictable even without using IR anyway.
