Nice... it could use some more color contrast. I think pictures are too crushed into warm tones. Probably matter of postwork :)

Thanks !

Yes i've tested the cold tone but i didn't like much and here i wanted that warm feeling, but i guess it's too much :s

Update : i've reduced the warm feeling+added more color saturation , maybe it's ok now what do you think?

Vignette might be too much, and so is light burn.

When it comes to post, its usually best idea not to go one or other way (warm or cold feeling), but combine the two. Have some areas where warm tones are, and some where cold tones are. That can be done particularly in 3D lighting phase, and particularly in postprocessing ;)

A bit of it is explained on the end of this tutorial http://www.evermotion.org/tutorials/show/7960/making-of-kumu-art-museum-of-estonia (http://www.evermotion.org/tutorials/show/7960/making-of-kumu-art-museum-of-estonia)

The floor seems to have very low resolution texture...

yes but the map isn't very low resolution it's just in viewport i did not scale it good with the uvw modifier and the viewport of max 2013 show very low preview of the map in the viewport so i thought it's just the viewport.

anyway as i said  it will be fixed  for textures and materials.

iLikeIt :D... Some aliasing going on on the chairs, did you render with internal res at 1?

Very nice glossy materials. I don't like those randomly scattered objects on the main table and colour of the clock. ;)

I think it is caused by sharpning in P.P

Thank you, about the scattered objects i think they add more beauty  i do like them. the clock colors is yellow/green dark/light colors so with plants and kitchen it is a nice one.

Put this script into your 3ds Max 2013\scripts\Startup folder for better viewport texture resolution ;)

Nice photographic look but the top left corner vignette ruins everything. And as before, I don't like these random gadgets all over the place - less is more.

And I hope this cat and dog are a joke. ;)

yes less is more, but not in every case, here i think the random elements are making a rich kitchen with some special event so we can see coming some nice preparation for this special day ( guests or celebration )

Maybe vignetting is more than enough in the left corner but i kinda like it anyway .

a joke ? no sir but you can sayi wanted to add some little action, the dog is moving to the cat ( added motion blur in corona but not that much ) and the cat is ready to defend

Update :

Added some fur to the cat + more motion blur to the dog + reduced vignetting + little bit of color blend

Cat is a bit better now, but dog still looks rigid. When it comes to animals in visualizations, i would recommend compositing in a photos rather than using 3D models. They just never look real ;)

the cat is waaaaaay too small

LOL, guys the cat model is so abnormal from evermotion so i did paint some fur and reduced his freaking long modeling feet and this is the first time i use a 3d animal and it will be the last as i see haha.

The dog i've tried with motion blur but yeah 3d animal for viz sucks!

here is the first and last result ( i did reduce the long feet after that )

These last two ones are really good. Especially exposure and color-wise :)

The cat still looks like some amateur taxidermy. Cats never bend legs like this, unless they are physically challenged. Last two renders are really nice.

Thanks Rawalanche glad you did like it ( i used the blend color tones  method thanks for the tip )

@maru:  yes this is the last time i use 3d pets in viz because i usually use 2d cutouts in compositing, this is the first time  !

Travertine needs some bump map - it looks like a laminate or print imho, other than that and the creatures - stunning!

Very good images, i like last 2. I  have to agree with guys, that cat looks...ehm.
Why not to use some free animals from http://www.viz-people.com/free-stuff ?
Try!

Very nice job with the last two!! I've seen before the tutorial rawa suggested but I kinda failed to fully understand how exactly did he blend those cool and warm toned layers to get that nice separated tones in one image without masking.

2D cats look  good. The one on the floor could use a bit more shadow under, though ;)
