Hi, I am about to buy a new IT solution in regards of laptop and nodes for rendering. And am thinking about working on a laptop and build a couple of nodes.
How important is the GPU in the nodes? Are they used for denoise?

Only if you are using the NVIDIA AI Denoiser are they important for denoising. And that's the only thing a GPU is useful for on a render node.
