Is there a method or way to validate the measurement of LUX or illuminance in corona? It will be nifty if the software can support ies photometric studies.
-
It can be done with some thought - the image units correspond to watts/m2/sr - so you can compute image, save it WITHOUT GAMMA and convert the units for yourself ;)

Sometimes this feature is really necessary and I even posted some sort of request for it some time ago https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,2308.0.html - just don't mind the corona ao part - that was quite lame of me :)

I really didn't understand the response I got...But if you don't mind looking here, Harvard University Graduate school of design publish a white paper on measurement-based day lighting with the help of Pierre Felix Brenton.
