hey, i try to export with datasmith a scene i made with 3dsmax but its not export the corona physical materials, is there a converter that convert the physical materials back to corona legacy materials?
tnx
-
It is not possible to convert the Physical Material into Legacy Material.
It looks like Datasmith does not support Corona 7. In that case, I would advise using the version of Corona which is supported by Datasmith.

will it change the materials to legacy if ill install an old version?
-
it doesn't...

Hi Ezer,
Had the same issue with datasmith and corona7
The Devs of Epic are working on it

I hope it will be patched soon

I guess in essence the change to the Physical Material should translate better into unreal once they update Datasmith. It'd be great to get an idea of what the time horizon is for that. I guess I'll pop over to EPICs forums.
Waiting impatiently for updates. I hope it comes in time for Christmas. I've been working like crazy all year with the hopes of taking December off and translate my Corona scenes to UE4.27 and/or UE5.

Did someone run some tests to see how well the Corona Physical Mtl holds up when exported to UE5+ ?
