Hello,
I've just noticed a problem when using a glass material, as base material, with Thin (no refraction) option in Corona Layered material. It seems there are no more reflections !
Can anyone confirm that, please ?
I use 3dsmax 2021.3, with Corona v6 hotfix1.
Thanks.

No one ?

Could there be something else going on with your material? I tried creating a quick CoronaLayeredMaterial with glass as base, and there is no problem with reflections when "thin" is checked.
Edit - Max 2020.3.2, Corona 6/hotfix 1

Hello Bjoershol,
Thank you for your feedback. Could that be because the object has thickness ?
-
The glass object has no thickness, no. See attachments, this is a simple glass plane with no thickness.
Not seeing any difference when bypassing the layered material, either. Strange, could be related to your Max version, but surely someone else must have experienced the same issue?

Hi NicolasC,
Could you post some screen shots of your material setup and issue? It's hard for us to figure out what the issue could be without these.
If you could post a simple scene as well it would be even better :)

Hi Rowan,
Please find enclosed an example scene. I boosted the glass material IOR so that the reflection problem is more obvious - I use another environment in my "real" scene.
I'd be curious to know if I did something wrong ;)
On a side note, would it be possible to fix the NoTiling bitmap option, so that it doesn't tile in the viewport, please ? it was fixed a few years ago, and now it's back ;(
Thanks.

This is already logged, we will also investigate your scene.
Thank you.
