When I used the Corona Converter with standard and physical materials from an old file as well as a new shadow catcher material, the shadow catcher goes blurry. any ideas why?
(BTW, I'm a newbie what is the difference between the physical material and the standard ones. ... None changed to a Corona material after the conversion.)

Check blur amount in the background bitmap node, maybe it was changed by the converter for some reason.

That is exactly what happened. Thanks!

Pretty interesting one can you share the pre-conversion scene with us?

I will try to upload on the Corona "Private Uploader", or if that doesn't work, I'll send a link. Let me know. I'm not sure if the files went through.
When manually switching the backplate for the Shadow Catcher from a Max bitmap to a Corona bitmap (in the slate material editor), the same thing happens... the new Corona bitmap come in with a blurriness of 1 ...which is very blurry.
I also am wondering why I needed to turn down both the sun intensity and Corona Sky brightness to a very low intensity, so that the materials and back-plate were not so washed out?

Thank you for uploading it, we will investigate.
