I have a scene which i want to rendere as a panning shot. camera still focuus on the car while other is in motion blur. how to solve this? Here i attach my screenshot of the scene

Just link camera target to the car and it will follow it. When you will render animated car, it won't be moving relative to the camera's projectionand thus won't be motion blurred.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have linked the camera to my car. Basically this is a car chase scene shot from the side of the car. The camera including the target is linked to the car rig. The camera moves relative to the car. What i want to achieve is the panning shot zooming to my car without causing it to be motion blurred but as for the background, i need it to be motion blurred.

This works the same as in real life. If your camera will NOT move relative to the car (i.e. its speed will be the same as the car's), then there will be no motion blur on the car and only on the background.

I think this setup needs both, camera and geometry motion blur (which is not activated, see screenshot).
Good Luck
