Title: volume grid inside global volume env
Post by: clemens_at on 2020-11-10, 12:14:50
I thought this has been resolved, or am I missing something?
The borders of my cvolume grid are clearly visible when a global volume material is enabled.

Honestly I am not sure what I am looking at here. Are the borders not visible if you disable the global volume material? Could you send an example scene?

sry, my bad.
yes, the borders are gone when I disable the global volume.
see attached image. I just made a simple scene with my volumegrid and a sun/sky.

I was able to reproduce it, so I will log it as a bug. Sorry about it!
I am not aware of any workaround right now...

Hey,

I have some good news, we've managed to fix this in v7 and it will be in the next daily build.

Keep an eye on the daily builds section :)

Cheers,

Rowan
