Hey there... I am playing a bit with an textures I downloaded from https://www.corona-materials.de/en/material-library/car-paint/blue-car-paint/289 (https://www.corona-materials.de/en/material-library/car-paint/blue-car-paint/289), when I render it its all as it supposed to be, but no matter what I do or change it appears completely black.
im gonna attach screenshots from the Node Editor an my Viewport... hope somebody can help, thx a lot in advanced!

No diffuse channel used, no proper viewport display (so far).
We all would like to have this changed in the future but for now it is just the way it is.

Ok.
I a noob, where would I need to start to get it going?

There is nothing you can do about the issue at hand. Car paint is reflective and does not have a diffuse property. You can switch the diffuse on in a material to see it better in the viewport (and switch it off before rendering again), you can use the IR a lot, but in general, you have to wait for a fix from the coders.

Wow. That sucks :(

It's an issues many 3rd party renderers suffer from.
