I used Corona Renderer 5 and installed the new version 6, but did I find a bug in CoronaVolumetricMaterial?
The CoronaVolumetricMaterial I made in Corona 5 (images attached) has a CoronaBitmap in the Absorption channel, this CoronaBitmap has the EnvironmentMode set to ''Screen''. It gave me the result I expected.
Now with Corona 6, CoronaVolumetricMaterial with this configuration does not have the same result. Even if EnvironmentMode is set to ''Screen'', the result is the same as if it was set to ''Spherical''.

Hi, sorry for the delay. Is this VolumeMtl applied to some geometry or to the global volume material slot in the environment settings?
If it's applied to geometry, then the screen/spherical/dome, etc mapping modes will be always ignored and it will be UVW-mapped on the geometry anyway.

And here is a comparison of the same thing rendered with V5 and V6. The volume mtl is applied to the box geometry, and then to the global volume material. I can't reproduce the issue. Could you send the problematic scene?

In the first version os this render, using Corona5, the CoronaVolumeMtl was applied to geometry with no UVW mapping in it. In the absortion I put a bitmap similar to smoke configured as screen. Then the result was what I expected.
Than I installed Corona6 and the render become diferent. I think the problem can`t be configuration, since the result was good in Corona5 and changed just by installing Corona6.
Do you want I send the scene in .max so you can analyse?

The solution for me, until now, was to uninstall Corona6 and reinstall Corona5. When I render again, the problem is gone.
