hello! I've textured a character (a frog), and I'm looking to add sparkles, little shiny accents, not totally a sequins effect, but still a "party, disco" effect... The use of a noise just makes a more or less white dots effect, not at all convincing... Thanks for your help!!!!

An image showing how much of the effect you want to achieve would be nice, but overall I think this could be a case for the glare post effect.

hello!!! I' ve posted the same question, how to produce a sparkles effect with a corona shader, and it has been moved to "help in c4d"... well, there are shaders, "Danel" shaders for C4d, you can find them on the web, which produce the sparkles surface (like a car paint with flakes shining throw the coat) but they are unsupported by corona... So, is there a way to do that with Corona??? thank you for help!!

Here are some 3ds Max threads, but the main principles should be similar:

Are you trying to create something like this? If so, here I used the skin shader to take advantage of the 2 reflection channels.

thank you, Beanzvision! it's clearly that effect, but with bigger and less sparkles! I'm going toi try to understand how to use the skin material!
