Title: Corona Renderer 6 (RC1) - Corona Material Library Menu
Post by: cjwidd on 2020-08-04, 04:46:35
Material Library menu has disappeared. After adding the menu back manually (Customize > Customize User Interface > Menus > ...) and saving default scene OR save Custom UI scheme OR save default state, the menu will not re-appear.

This issue is at least specific to RC1; the issue does not appear in Corona version: 6 (DailyBuild Jun 18 2020)

Hi,

The Corona top bar menu was deprecated and removed in RC1: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=26830.msg173811#msg173811

You can launch the matlib from the Corona toolbar and even assign the toolbar actions to custom keys now.

Thanks,

Rowan

I thought I might have read that and just forgot. Thank you for the gentle reminder :)

That being the case, why is it that the Corona menu cannot be created manually in the manner I have described - is that a Max issue?

Hi,

We'll look into that one as I'm not sure that was intended.

In the mean time you can just give the toolbar a different name "Corona v1" for example and it won't be removed.

Cheers,

Rowan
