Hello, how can I create shadows on the ceiling from a striped suspension like the one in photo?
Thanks in advance!

Since Corona is physically-based, if you model a similar scene (similar lamp, light source, room, etc), the result will also be similar. You do not need to adjust any settings to get softer or sharper shadows. This depends on light source size and the distance between objects, like in real life.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. I tried with different types of lighting, dimensions and position but the shadows never appear.
Thanks anyway

Could you show your result? There's really no reasons why this shouldn't work in Corona the way maru described.
-
That's it.

Hi. Your reference picture is a night picture with almost no other light than your lamp. Your render is a full daytime render with lots of other lights turned on. No chance to see how the shadows from your lamp looks like at night.

That effect does not work with any light. I tried by night and by day, with all the lights turned off and on. At the end I decided to render a daylight image because of it.
Thanks

It works fine - just do as maru said :)

What kind of light source did you use? Thanks

A Corona light (spherical)

Make sure you place Corona Spherical Light inside the lamp.
