Title: Setting a material up for all obejcts
Post by: Mettigel Hawaii on 2020-07-16, 21:40:04
Hi,

I would like to use one material for multiple objects. Does anyone know how to do it fast not having to do it one by one? The file I am using is a Vectorworks export with a lot of objects.
Also I would like to know how to set up materials for instances.

Regards

select your current material (or materials) in the material manager > go to SELECT > Select Material Tags/Objects, then drag and drop your new material into the new material tag - ie. in image below.

thanks! i just found out I can do this instead of manually scrolling and replacing the material tag on the outliner.
