Hello everyone,
I have some doubts about the gpu to use for the interactive render Ai Denoiser in Corona renderer.
I have a Quadro k4000 and I would like your feedback if you can help me :)
I am thinking of upgrading to a P4000 or a second k4000 and connecting both in sli bridge.
My doubts are if the difference between a K4000 and a P4000 is big in the interactive renderer (Optix) (I didn't find online videos with comparisons about Gpu in Ai denoiser / interactive render?
And want to know if i have 2x k4000 in sli bridge if the interactive renderer will be faster to process the images in real time?

Hi,
Even the most modest GPU performs Optix denoiser in a fraction of a second. Replacing GPU or adding another one, most likely will not have any affect on Nvidia AI denoising time and most certainly it will NOT speed up interactive rendering. Appart from denoising, GPU is not involved in Corona's rendering.

Hi. I agree regarding speed, but not all "modest" GPUs are supporter by NVIDIAs AI denoiser. So check that out before bying :)

And the GPU with optix? i see some info that we can change for interactive rendering cpu to nvidia gpu with optix, that is correct? or only the cpu works with interactive rendering?

So far, this only goes for the denoiser in Corona. If you want to do GPU-rendering, then Corona might not be your best choice, since it's a CPU renderer.

ok perfect, corona still my choice :)
The only thing i try to find is a faster interactive rendering option in my complex scenes, but only a upgrade in cpu will change that...
