Hi all,
someone can help me to set coronacamera parameters to better simulate the real camera based on "camera data Exif" ?
Thank you very mutch
-
Some of exif data is missing in your screenshot. Only focal length is visible - 15mm. You should also look for shutter speed, ISO, apperture and exposure compensation and enter them to according fields in Corona camera.
-
I can't find the data you say, i am interested only in macthing the perspective setting.
Generally i use the "perspective match" utility in 3ds max, but in some case don't works well for me and i would prefer have help from exif data.
-
I that case you're interested in focal length in 35mm equiv value, which is 15mm in your screenshot. It will help to match the 3D camera viewing angle to real camera viewing angle, but you still have to do perspective matching on your own.
-
The "film width [mm]" remain 36mm or i have to set to 35 mm?
-
You should leave it at 36mm. I keep forgetting why it's called 35mm, i think it's for historical reasons.

thank you romullus for replay,
can i ask the last question?
see attachment i have 5,7mm focal length, but if i set that value in corona camera i gives e very distorted view not comparable to the real photo.
-
sorry i have to set 34mm not 5.7mm
-
As i mentioned earlier, you need to enter focal length in 35mm equivalent - in your last example it's 34mm. Alternatively, if you know sensor witdth of your camera, or crop factor, you can use those values, but it can be too confusing if you not used to those concepts, so it's best to stick to one method.

Thank you romullus

You're welcome!

For the film gate standard is full frame in digital which is around 35mm sensor. Different companies manufacture slightly different dimensions.
It comes as standard from the film era, the 135 film, probably you'll remember changing film cartridges with 36 exposures if you are old enough.
