Out of the desire of achieving a realistic looking cloud using only 3ds Max, Corona Renderer and Adobe Photoshop.

Ok, so don't leave us waiting :- ). The cloud is always composited in or rendered volume?

We have a blog in progress, which we hope to have ready next week or the week after, with a dive into the why and how :)

@Juraj Talcik The cloud is rendered but enhanced in post production. There will be more details about the way it was made in the article that will soon be released :)

@D 3d modeling I can tell you that it was not easy to create the cloud. It took a lot more than I expected but I was very determined to do it. There will be more details about the whole process in the future post that I am preparing together with the people from Corona Renderer.

I still didn't have time to play with volumes, but this really helps with appetite for it.

Smilde was my main source of inspiration for the whole project :)
