Hi,
Can someone please clarify about it? I have the CoronaColorCorrect on top of HDRI map to light an entire daylight scene and keep it unckecked for now. While running IR, I adjust some values in the VFB Tone Mapping and stop it. When I run IR again after moving objects, etc. I get completely different exposure, usually much darker results. If I check it, this won't happen? I currently unchecked the Tone mapping in the VFB.

Sorry, I don't fully understand the question. I am not sure what you mean by "and keep it unckecked for now." and "If I check it, this won't happen? " - not sure what you are checking? The Color Correct doesn't really have any checkboxes (e.g. it has ones for using Temperature, or inverting colors, but that doesn't sound like what you would be referring to).
I am also not sure what you mean by "When I run IR again after moving objects," - what part does the moving objects play in the results? Does something different happen if you don't move objects?
You also mention adjusting values in the VFB Tone Mapping, but later say the Tone Mapping in the VFB is unchecked - so adjusting VFB Tone Mapping wouldn't do anything, if it is unchecked in the VFB?
And lastly, I am not sure what you are wanting to achieve. Do you want a background image which stays the same brightness regardless of adjusting exposure etc. in the VFB? (If so, that's the Tone Map control, not the Color Correct). https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000522247-how-to-create-a-texture-which-is-not-affected-by-the-vfb-tone-mapping-
Or is there some other effect you are looking to achieve? Could be worthwhile sharing some renders, or even a video of the workflow, along with a description of what you want to happen. Thanks!

I attached an image. I left that box unchecked. While running IR I make some tone mapping adjustment in VFB and stop IR. When I rerun IR I sometime get much darker render. If I check that box it seems I can make adjustment in VFB and don't have problem when running IR again. I have no idea what's going on.

Which version of Corona is that? That checkbox is not in 5 or 6 :)

Also, let us know what you are trying to do - if you want to "adjust the look of the HDRI in the background, and then have that look unaffected by VFB tonemapping" - you'd go HDRI -> Color Correct (to adjust the brightness, etc of the HDRI) -> Tonemap Control (to prevent the VFB tone mapping from affecting the result) -> Direct Visibility Override (to be visible in the background, and not part of the lighting).

I think it's legacy from scene created in older version. Try to delete this map and create new one - there should be no legacy checkbox anymore and hopefully no odd behaviour.

I'm using version 5, believe that is the latest.
I just noticed the fresh CoronaColorCorrect doesn't have that check box. I start a new project by copying my old one since I don't need to set up all the render elements and lighting again, therefore I ended up using the old color correct map up until now.
It seems fine now. Thank you, guys.
