Max 2021 install soon? Thanks! - Greg
-
Yes, both Corona 5 and 6 installers will be soon compatible with 3ds Max 2021.
You can already install Corona in 3ds Max 2021 manually by copying the 3ds Max 2020 plugin files if you want. 2020 plugins are supported by 2021. See: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000038849

Fantastic, that is what I was thinking and thank you! Excited about v6 and keep up the great work and long live the memory of Jaroslav.
Respectfully,

I've heard about plugins compiled for 3dsmax 2020 being usable directly for 3dsmax 2021, but upon copying 3dsmax 2020 files into 2021 folders manually, Max started crashing when it accesses CoronaMax2020.dlr.
I didn't uninstall the previous installation though. Just saying.

Hm. Weird. Let's wait for the official solution then. :)

I also tried to copy the Corona plugins directory … 3DSMax 2021 started up ok, but did not provide Corona Renderer as an additional rendering option. I look forward to a 3DSMAX 2021 Corona Renderer install update.

v5 HF1 is available for download. It has 2021 support :)

for 3DSmax 2021 installation on latest v6beta release, just select the custom installation and check the 2021 checkbox in the preferences.
