Title: Corona for Unreal Engine?
Post by: Jpjapers on 2020-03-25, 12:09:14
Given that Vray, Octane and Redshift are all developing (or have) integrations with Unreal. Is it in 'future planning' for Corona at all?
More and more I'm seeing that renders arent the end of the pipe for visualisation anymore and the current interoperability with corona and unreal leaves a lot to be desired once you're in the engine.

Nothing in the plan at the moment - you can check the tentative roadmap to see the things we have on our list as of right now :) https://trello.com/b/EfPE4kPx/corona-tentative-road-map-3ds-max

Tentative. Good name change ;). This wouldn't be a max thing though. I believe it would live in the same realm as Corona for C4D or Archicad. There would just also be Corona for Unreal Engine in the same way there is Corona for other DCCs

Well, the decision and stuff would come from the Core team (and Max is the Core team, so, that would be the roadmap to check for if and when we ever start thinking about it)
