Hi,
Does the windows 10 feature Network discovery have to be enable to use Distributed Rendering?

Im helping a user that is having problems connecting his master computer to the slave computer, it used to work earlier for him before network discovery was disabled.
We have tried adding the computer manually via hostname and IP but cannot get it to work.

Have not check antivirus or firewall yet so that could be the cause of the issue.

Hi,

I believe you'll need to create and exception in the Windows firewall for the DR server/3ds Max applications.

I don't think network discovery should be an issue, it is disabled on my setup and DR works.
