Title: Render region/Render selected
Post by: mattyt on 2020-02-19, 15:31:34
Hi,

Can someone suggest what I might be doing wrong with my region renders.

When I have completed my final high res render and then want to make a small change by using render region or render selected, the entire render starts to gain noise and the lighting changes (becomes much darker) the longer I let the render contiue. This effect happens across the whole image and is not contained within the specified regions. I've attached an example.

I have been using Nvidia denoise in the render and am not sure if this is part of the reason. Any suggestions where I might have been going wrong would be appreciated.

Hi Tom,
Thanks, I already had that unticked.
I just found out that it was due to me using ditributed network rendering. Since I've switched it off it all seems to be working for me now more as I'd expected. It's just a shame that you have to modify your workflow mid project in order to use it.
Cheers
