This is my next test, scaling into a big scene. My XREFS wont render, so im forced to merge everything into one file. Next will be trees, context, people, dogs and what not.
-
FYI With the futher release of Alpha 6, Xrefs will render.
-
Thanks for the info. Damn! my scene has a bunch of xrefs
-
With all this testing this is what I have so Far. Testing CR on a large scene.
-
Well done Alex
This renders are soft and clean; could you tell us how you light them ?
Thanks

All looks really good, except grass. Lawn should be mowed and grass material could use more translucency. Usually grass is more translucent than tree leaves.

Hi, Do you mean to add Mow Lines or to square off the tips of the grass? For the Translucency factor, i did add it. However It may be not shown punchy because of the sun angle or the grass may be occluding each other. I notice some people mix 2-3 types of grass and make them taller than the base grass plane. I think by raising some blades you get that maximum detail of translucency. I think it happened here and its something I discovered by mistake http://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2784.0;attach=11379;image (http://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2784.0;attach=11379;image)

Simple set up. I went to Master Jeff Patton's site and downloaded his HDRI's http://jeffpatton.net/2013/06/four-new-hdrs/ (http://jeffpatton.net/2013/06/four-new-hdrs/). Then I followed the setup in the pictures below,
-
Very nice, I like it a lot.
Maybe a less reflective glass would make it look a bit more "realistic"
Also I liked the highlight on first image a lot more, bring it back! & downgrade the gamma/exposure a little bit ;)

Well I'm testing the render engine for my office work. I am testing it against actual photographs see below, that glass is reflective. Also the sun lighting corresponds to the actual geographical location, north axis, time of day and year. Take a look. I also finished one the other image. I hope Mr. Keymaster sees this. This engine is amazing!
