The quality is great.
The handheld camera effect is awful: it's obvious fake that breaks realism.

Instead of saying that it is the same as the short of Roman, I would like to know how you got there :D. what kind of hdr. Did you create the lut? The mood is exceptional Great!

Amazing work. This is what should be shown to people saying 3D graphics is not art.
I do agree with Rozpustelnik though that the camera shake effect could be more natural.
(oh and thanks for the credit! :D I just noticed it!)

Superb quality. I agree with the others, get rid of the camera shake or if you really want to keep it then rework it to make it more realistic.

I guess stabilizing would be the easiest solution right now. :)

What amazes me most is the sharpness and lack of noise. I've recently rendered some dry brush decor as featured and it was fairly noisy. What hardware are you using and what are you're render times like? (2k!? Again, amazing!)

I would like to thank you all for your kind words.
The camera movement will be more realistic at the end of the project be sure about that.
It was my first teaser and I knew that I would have some comments and I love to hear from you guys.

it's not all about the hardware that I used.
I made lots of test and I red a lot corona Rules and this is the final product.
I didn't use denoiser in any scene just some passes.

this is beyond good or excellent, this is at the level of the third and the seventh by Alex Roman. absolutely the best I've seen in years.

I just saw your flickr page. your work is superior to anything I've seen, that includes Bertrand and Guthrie. your editing of the video is on bar with Alex Roman's work. if I may ask (and excuse my excitement lol) who are you? lol do you have a website?

and I am not saying your work is similar to Alex's work. I couldn't care less. he used to be the best. now I've seen somebody better!! just wow. we need more work man it's art!

What format do you output for frames? Did you do any post processing in the Corona VFB, or was in mostly done in separate video software?

When I finish the original story film I will make Making of.
I did a little post-processing on the corona and finally on After Effect.

I'm not on that level of quality at all. but I dare to assume there's no magic in materials or lighting at all, the real art is in the post process. colors contrast etc are what's making this work come to life.

"Not all about the hardware"...
Well, that's clear. But you obviously do not work on an old laptop. That hair and the plants need lots of RAM, a more than decent V-card, etc.
Good hardware boost up your creativity in the world of 3D.
Had a look at your video. To me the camera shaking looks quite natural. Just asking myself, why such a dramatic soundtrack to such tender images?

This is really inspirational! I love this type of art, which is rarely used in Arch-vis
The size of the renderings was 2560x1440 and I used Parabolic Filter.

Hi,the export that I used was H.264 and I didn't use Motion blur in AE.The frame rate was 30FPS.
