Title: Serene
Post by: Dclaw12 . ma on 2020-01-06, 11:08:42
A serene full CG scene inspired by our recent site check for an upcoming 5-star resort in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

Hạ Long Bay  is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular travel destination in Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam. The name Hạ Long means "descending dragon".

2019 is my first time visiting Ha Long. I was really conquered here, because the beauty here is unique. This is like a gift from God to this land. At this moment, I want to sketch the scene through 3d. I want to express the feeling of serenity, harmony with nature, feeling of fog and sea.

Hope you like it.

Beautiful! The only weak point, in my opinion, is the branch in the top left corner. It's super low poly, and this could be easily fixed by subdividing the mesh and adding some detail, displacement, etc (the proper way), or by DOF-blurring it (the lazy way). :)

Thank for your advise :) yes that's true. I will focus more on detail.
