Post by: Pepelecrabb on 2019-11-15, 18:35:22
How do I set up the Shadow Catcher material environment when using the new Corona Sky HDRI slot?

Hi, unfortunately, this is an issue that will be fixed in the next RC. For now, you can use the old method of applying a material onto the Corona Sky

Thanks, and thanks for the speedy reply. I like the idea of the HDRI/Shader slot and looking forward to it being more usable.

Okay, Shadow Catcher with Corona Sky/HDRI now works with RC2!

Now to nitpik I'm sure you're already aware...We need to be able to increase the HDRI resolution in the viewport to see what's what.

And an oldie but goodie question with HDRI in general...Why are renders not as sharp as the original HDRI? I set the sampling to None and keep the render settings at their defaults.
