Title: Does Corona have adaptive lighting for scenes with many lights (like V-Ray)?

Here is what I am talking about:

Faster rendering with Adaptive Lights (V-Ray Key Feature) (https://www.chaosgroup.com/vray/3ds-max/adaptive-lights)
Testing Adaptive Lights in V-Ray 3.5 Adv (dabarti) (https://dabarti.com/vfx/testing-adaptive-light/)
Understanding Adaptive Lights blog article with examples/timing (https://www.chaosgroup.com/blog/understanding-adaptive-lights)

Yes, Corona does have algorithms for efficient handling of multiple light sources (the "Adaptive light solver" option in the Corona performance settings), see here for more details:

Im jumping on the thread to ask a question regarding adaptive enviroment lights (no need for portals) vray has it, so the question is for this type of features do corona developers have to rewrite a lot of their code or do you have found an "easy" way to add code from vray and viceversa? thx!

It's on the roadmap in the "pool of ideas", so I am sure our developers will find the best way to do it. :)

Regarding roadmap. When can we expect to see the features that will be added in v6 ?
