Title: Corona 5 Displacement - Not working in this scene?

Am I missing something?

Out of interest, did you try stopping and restarting the IR after changing the displacement type? That didn't seem to be shown in the video (and given the underlying displacement method has changed completely, I wouldn't be too surprised if an IR restart was needed).

I did. With 2.5D displacement ON, it just doesn't work on this scene. On a new scene it does work.

Maybe not you -  but your object is missing something :) It has no map channel #2. The map uses that channel and new displacement does no fallback to channel #1 it seems.

BTW: Your scene has 881 animation layers, you should clean it.

And it shouldn't. Classic displacement does that and the result is wrong and ugly.
