Hi!

The default settings for Corona should be just fine. You only need to change them for specific things (so, someone else's settings will either just be the defaults, or will have been changed or something specific - which may not be what you are doing, so wouldn't be of much use).

You are actually best to watch some tutorials - https://corona-renderer.com/getting-started/first-steps-in-3ds-max is a good place to start, along with others such as https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000599619-common-user-errors, https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000518064-how-many-passes-is-enough-, https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515590-how-to-set-limit-for-rendering-3ds-max, and a browse through our YouTube channel to learn about materials, lighting, etc.

In fact, there are no magic settings in Corona that will make you better - creating good materials, good lighting, scene composition etc. are where your focus should be for improving. That's the beauty of Corona! It's not the render settings that make a great render, as we've taken care of the render settings for you with great defaults :)
