Hi there,
I've been wondering for quite while, had nightless nights and had many breakdowns crying on floor. Is it possible to add thickness to plane/polygon objects that has two colored sides?
Ive been trying to animated folding leaflet that has 2 sides. But If I add cloth nurb it messes up the 2 sided option. And If I add thickness with extruding the polygons, folding of paper will become almost impossible with joint and folding deformer for some reason turn wonky and doesn't want to work.
If there a workaround to this in corona that adds fake thickness to object that has two differently colored sides?
Z fold leaflet example:

Thank you very much ahead!

Hmm...
Maybe you're really looking for: How to create a 2 sided layered material with Corona Renderer in Cinema 4D (https://help.c4d.corona-renderer.com/support/solutions/articles/12000044906-how-to-create-a-2-sided-layered-material-with-corona-renderer-in-cinema-4d)

Thank you from reply, but this one i've tried. The main problem is that how to add thickness to flat object that has two sides? I've animated the folded map to rotate, and it looks very weird cause some parts disappear completely when it turns 90° due the lack of thickness.

To get actual thickness, the usual suspects are Cloth Surface, Extrude (with caps) or something 3rd party (like Extrude Generator form the Maxon Labs.)

Thank you Cinemike, found solution. Only way to add thickness in my case is to use Py-Parametric Tools made by Maxon Labs. :)

We really need a shell modifier (3ds Max) counter part in C4D. The cloth generator only gets you so far...
Nothing the Corona devs can do about that though :P
