Title: Book light technique: noise issues
Post by: trillerans on 2019-10-02, 11:35:59
Hi there Guys,
I'm digging into Corona render and trying to replicate some of my favorites studio lighting techniques, one of which is indeed "Book lighting" (see attachment).
No matter what I do, I get the extremely noisy renders that you see in the attachment. I am also uploading the whole scene as per TomG suggestion.
I tried getting into Rayswitching by following the provided tutorials but, still, can't get any result. I tried pretty much everything (changing light color, intensity...)

Any help?

You over complicated it.
Simplify... ie.

Result with your settings // clears out in seconds ;)

Oh, & BTW, with LED lights these techniques are becoming obsolete ;)

Hey Burnin,
it seems you really nailed it. Would you be so kind to share the scene, so that I can set it up just like you did and learn from it?

Thanks a lot mate.
