Title: 2-Point perspective
Post by: darseneau on 2019-09-03, 19:04:16
I'm an architect and new to Corona / Cinema 4d. Is there an easy way to setup a simple 2-point perspective.. ie.. vertical lines stay parallel.
Tks

Corona camera has 2 point perspective mode, it's called "automatic vertical tilt". Not sure if Corona for C4D has Corona camera yet.

Tks Romullus..I'm using Corona 4 / Cinema 4D. I don't seem to be able to locate " Automatic Vertical Tilt " using the Corona camera.

There is something similar in native C4D camera controls, the Film Offset X and Film Offset Y. See https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=22328 - and from that thread, I did set up a feature request for the Tilt and Shift in the Corona Camera (internal tracking 282120966).

No luck with " offset X or Y " it just seems to move the viewer around and do not correct the vertical lines. It should be an easy setup in Corona or Cinema 4d... very common rendering techniques for architectural still image renderings.

Set your camera P angle to 0° and use the film offset then.

Tks CineMike...It seems to work...but not obvious to find... for an architect.
