In IR, PW and VFB when I render scene - I see this artifacts and the lighting is darker on the scene. After week searching of solutions I found, that problem in "Tile" in Texture tag portal material. If it`s on - a have artifacts in IR, VFB, PW and darker scene. When I off Tile - it all works fine but it seems, that portal not working.

Thanks for the info and scene, we will look into it.

Here is more pictures. So, can you comment this problem?

Does turning off the "New Light Solver" make a difference (checkbox in the Performance tab)?

similar case: Artifacts on surfaces (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=23286.0;all)
suspect: path guiding (New Light Solver)

No, it is not. I have the same issue now. When you hide/remove portals everything is fine. (I am using 3ds but doesn't matter I guess)
Is this going to be fixed???

Well, it's possible that it isn't the same issue, as the C4D one is specifically about enabling Tile in the Portal material, which afaik is not something that has an equivalent in Max. Can you provide your scene, so we can see if it is the same issue, and take a look into what you are experiencing?
BTW for the original poster, why enable Tile for the material? It isn't on by default as far as I know, so why not simply leave it disabled as the solution?
