the corona standalone does not open on my machine, it closes forever, what happens?

you need to use CLI parameters and have the scene exported correctly. There is a PDF how to do it, if you cannot understand it, you can still use corona with automated exporters like the one for blender. But do not expect any standalone studio with GUI.
