Is there such a thing in Corona?
-
Yes, once you start rendering, 3ds Max shows the estimated time in the rendering dialog (like with other engines), and there's an estimated remaining in the Stats tab of the VFB too.
-
Keep in mind that Corona only shows estimated time only if you set rendering limits, otherwise rendering will last indefinitely and there will be no estimation on its end /obviously/ :]
-
A good point! Corona is unable to estimate the lifespan of your CPU/the collapse of society/the heat death of the universe, or other such render-terminating events where there is no limit set ;)
-
Got it, thanks. I am coming from V-Ray, which shows the estimated time.

It's possible you didn't get your answer through the humour. Corona does estimate the time, when you set some sort of limit (pass, time, noise). The time estimation in Vray is also based on some kind of limit: the number of buckets.
