Title: Fireflies on CoronaLight mat in constant mode on thin geometry
Post by: Polymax on 2014-01-09, 21:39:43
Why appears fireflies on CoronaLight material in Constant mode on thin geometry? This is shader core limitations? Because scene don't have GI.

yep, this is the traditional problem with selfintersections/leaks. Your geometry near the corners is extremely elongated, so there are some numerical issues. Setting embree triangles to precise seems to be helping with this scene a lot.
