As for title i did a very simple scene test, basic materials without texture, no hdr or plugins on scene, same 2016 max version,
but the resul is not correct.
Any suggestion?
thank you

Uploading the scene and Backburner logs of any sort could be of help - the scene especially, since it looks pretty simple and with nothing that couldn't be shared. Also, just to check, the stripe does not appear with a single machine rendering it?
Other questions, how was this submitted to Backburner, "Submit to network rendering" (rather than DR)? How many machines involved?
Cheers!

Was Backburners "Split Scan Lines"-Option used?
If so, make sure to use Animation UHD Cache or Path Tracing for Secondary GI

does not appear with a single machine.

yes "Submit to network rendering", 3 server machine involved withut worktation.
Was Backburners "Split Scan Lines"-Option used?
yes, i use still frame UHD Cache

sorry TomG, appear also with a sigle machine!!! I tried with 2 singles machines.

The scene and steps to reproduce would be awesome :)

Have you a link for upload? thanks.
I use backburne 2019 and max 2016 on all machines, do you think this is a possible problem? if so i can install backburner 2016.

Here's the link to the private Corona uploader: https://corona-renderer.com/upload

...the steps:
- submit "Submit to network rendering"
- use selected servers
- save the render in network path.

Some updates?
I'd like to know if it's my problem or a bug.
-
No news yet, but did you try the suggestion "Was Backburners "Split Scan Lines"-Option used?
If so, make sure to use Animation UHD Cache or Path Tracing for Secondary GI"
(as you mentioned you were using Still Image as the UHD Cache, in which case each machine might come up with its own variation of the Cache). Let us know if either of those changes made a difference, using Animation for the UHD or using Path Tracing in place of the UHD Cache.

Tested,
i have the same problem both using UHD cache for animation and path tracing.
-
"Was Backburners "Split Scan Lines"-Option used?
yes i use this option
-
Even if i use only one computer (workstation) via backburner with "Split Scan Lines" option enabled, the problem remain.
-
...i tested also loading the pre calcolated UHD cache from file, the problem persist

Hey guys, despite this post being a bit older... I have a similar problem occurring in the C4D version... both, when rendering on a single machine and two machines at once.
Already tried: different UHD-cache methods. Same problem. The funny thing is: I see the stripes only on a grass-texture. And only at full playback speed.
They remain stationary... looks like some "video-interference" with the texture... maybe caused by the frame rate?
The dumb thing is: if I do rest renders in smaller resolution, the stripes don't appear to be (that much) visible. And testing in 4K is a bit time consuming...

C4D issues may be easily overlooked by our C4D support if they are posted in the 3ds Max section. If you haven't done it yet, can you please start a separate thread in the C4D section? Thanks!
