I'm having an issue where objects that are hidden (usually reference objects) are being rendered in the Interactive Render, and in a few cases, in the final render as well.
This seems to happen on multiple machines. Sorry if this is a commonly asked question. I couldn't find anything in the 30 minutes or so i spent looking.
R20 and corona 3 release. Thank you

Hi there, as far as I know, we have one other case like this that has been reported. It would be ideal if you could send us your scene file so we can go through it to find a solution. If you can, please share it to our private uploader. The link is in my signature below. Thx ;)

Hidden how? I have seen this with instances and layers.
Thanks,

Hey guys. Sorry for the late response. I couldn't send you the project we were having issues with most recently (hence the delay in responding), but today i was able to replicate the issues in this file.
As you can see from the screenshot, this object (Bed B) is hidden from rendering and viewport in the parent REF null (this is the common way in which we hide reference objects in a scene so they are easily replaceable if changes occur in a project). So the interactive renderer should be reflecting the viewport. but it is not. If you toggle visibility of the reference bed, you'll see things go haywire and the interactive viewport can't be trusted at all. The final render, in this case, does not show the artifact bed in the background. only the interactive render.

May need the actual scene - I tested with a cube nested inside three layers of null, like shown in your image, and it worked as expected. You can use the private uploader at https://corona-renderer.com/upload
PS - I was using the latest daily build.

uploading now. thank you

Did this every get resolved, i have the same issue. And it seems to step from geometry that's been imported from Revit.

Scratch that, it seems that when importing a revit Model it ticks Render hidden objects in the 3ds Max Render diag, general Tab
-
In Render Setup there is a checkbox under the Common Tab, in Option next to Atmosferics: Render Hidden Geometry. Make sure is unchecked.
